Itinerary of the Luxor Day Trip – Private Excursion to Luxor
Early in the morning, you will be picked up and begin your journey in a modern, comfortable, air-conditioned minibus from Safaga, traveling via the newly built desert road for approximately 225 km to the Nile Valley in Qena.
Along the way, you will make a short stop at a rest area, where you can use the restroom or stretch your legs.
Then continue on the densely populated road to Luxor (approx. 60 km), passing many small and large towns, giving you a glimpse of typical Egyptian daily life.
Now you have arrived in Luxor and begin enjoying your Luxor excursion. After a brief refreshment break, you will visit the largest temple complex in the world, featuring the enormous hypostyle hall. The bus will then take you to West Thebes, where you will enjoy a local-style lunch.See also.
After lunch, you will explore the world-famous Valley of the Kings, including interior visits to the royal tombs. New! Taking photos with your mobile phone inside the tombs without flash is now allowed free of charge. Afterwards, you will visit the terraced temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an interesting spot for photographers offering fantastic photo opportunities. Your sightseeing ends at the impressive Colossi of Memnon.
Then begin your return journey, giving you time to reflect on the day’s experiences or simply enjoy watching life along the Nile. You will arrive back at your hotel around 8:00 PM. The day tour to Luxor & Valley of the Kings will remain in your memory for a long time.

You will be picked up directly from your hotel in Hurghada. The journey takes place in a modern, air-conditioned mini-bus with maximum comfort.
The route leads via Safaga along the newly developed desert road to the green Nile valley near Qena.
A short break at a rest stop is planned along the way - an opportunity to visit the toilet or stretch your legs.
After a short refreshment break, your tour of the largest temple complex in the world begins:
Visit the gigantic Column Hall with its over 130 mighty columns - a highlight of every trip to Egypt.

Then we go to the west side of Thebes, where a typical local lunch awaits you - freshly prepared and authentic.
Visit the famous necropolis with the original tombs of the pharaohs.
The imposing terrace temple of Queen Hatshepsut, located directly on the rock massif, offers great photo opportunities.
Finally, you will see the monumental colossal statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. - an impressive place for a final photo stop.
After an eventful day, you begin your return journey. During the journey you have time to reflect on your impressions or observe life on the Nile from the window.
You will reach your hotel in Hurghada around 20:00.
