From Hurghada two-day private tour to Luxor and Aswan

Overview

Day 1: Valley of the Kings & Luxor – In the Footsteps of the Pharaohs

We will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned first-class bus and head to Luxor, where you will be accompanied by your private Egyptologist guide. You will explore the famous West Bank sites, including the Valley of the Kings — home to the magnificent royal tombs. You will visit 3 tombs (excluding Tutankhamun’s tomb). Afterward, you will see the Colossi of Memnon, followed by a visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, built in honor of one of ancient Egypt’s few female rulers. Lunch will be served.

Day 2: Luxor – Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple

Be taken to the east bank of Luxor to enjoy the Karnak Temple Complex. No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever built by humankind and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and pharaohs. The Karnak Temple actually consists of three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples spread across 247 acres of land. In the evening, you will travel to Aswan (4 hours).

Day 2 Day 2: Aswan

1 Philae Temple

Early in the morning, you will join your tour guide.

– Visit the Philae Temple:
After breakfast, you will visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was built on Philae Island and was an important religious center in ancient Egypt. You will explore the well-preserved temple ruins and learn more about the history and religious rites of the ancient Egyptians.

– Visit the Botanical Garden:
Next, proceed to the Botanical Garden of Aswan, located on Kitchener’s Island. Here, you can admire a variety of exotic plants from around the world, originally planted by Lord Horatio Kitchener during his time as Governor of Egypt.

– Nile Boat Ride:
Your tour continues with a relaxing boat ride on the Nile. Enjoy the scenic views of the river and surrounding landscapes as you travel by water to the Nubian village.

– Visit a Nubian Village:
Experience the culture and lifestyle of the Nubian people during a visit to a traditional Nubian village. You will have the opportunity to interact with locals, learn about their way of life, customs, and traditions, and purchase handmade souvenirs.

– Lunch:
After these cultural experiences, you will be treated to a delicious lunch featuring traditional Nubian dishes.

– Return to Hurghada:
After lunch, begin your return journey to Hurghada. Enjoy the ride back through Egypt’s picturesque landscapes and take home unforgettable memories of your excursion.
Then we will drive all the way back to Hurghada.
